Yesterday I made an offer on the condo in Birmingham’s Southside. This being a holiday weekend I don’t expect to hear back from the seller till Tusday or later. I offered $100,000.00 with the seller paying all closing costs. I’ve learned a little about why condo fees are so high. I’ll explain inside. [Note: At some point in the podcast I mention that the property taxes for the condo are 700 to 1,000 a month. That should be per year. I can be so dumb sometimes.] Is it just me or does it not seem appropriate that the condo is the ninth unit in the building and is in an odd location in the structure? Nine is an interesting number. So I climb onto my soapbox again in this podcast after reading an article I found on yahoo news about Christians and Atheists coming together to dialogue! What the hell? Why dialogue? Either God exists or he doesn’t. What is there to dialogue about? Christians would love a trophy: “Former atheist turns to God!” That’s enough to send me hurling.
