After an early morning breakfast I decided to do a clean install of OSX in my Imac computer. A few glitches in that (after doing the clean install) I’m missing some music from my iTunes collection. And Ramble Redhead’s picture appears to be missing from my Listener gallery? I donno why! N e way, a short and uninspiring podcast for you this Saturday afternoon. Remember to wear your rubbers. Total running time: 15 minutes 53 seconds. (Stereo) MP3.

  1. Prices over here for the Chrysler 300 start at $54,000 for the 3.0 liter V6 model and $56,000 for the 300C Touring which has a station wagon body and is badged in the U.S., I think, as a Dodge.

There is also a shit hot V8 5.7 liter 300C SRT-8 version which starts at the equivalent of $80,000. (I’m calculating this on the rate of 1GBP = $2, which it is approximately.)

We’ve tried those eco efficient compact fluorescent bulbs but didn’t like the light that they produce so went back to filaments. The tone and the quality of the light just wasn’t quite right somehow – some kind of subtle difference that I can’t really explain, it just lacked something. Anyway, any effort to minimise our carbon footprint is shot to hell this year what with one long haul and two short haul return flights, together with tooling around New Port Richey for two weeks in that V8 5.7 liter, 18 miles to the gallon, Pontiac GXP rental.

Once China and India, THE worst polluters on this planet, start to do something about the pollution that their massive industrialisation produces – and that ain’t gonna happen anytime soon, they don’t give a shit – THEN I’ll think about changing light bulbs back to the eco friendly ones again. Basically, the way China & India are heading, this planet is fucked whatever we in the West try to do.
