159 Was it worth it?

  1. Wow !! 200,000 plus miles on a 4 year old car- that is a whole lot of driving you’ve done there, Nick.
    My Vauxhall Omega was ten years old and it had only done 54,000. – and just 20,000 of those were done by me over the past 6 years. !! What it is to be living on a little bitty teeny old island. Interesting to realise that car salesmen and dealerships seem to be the same the world over – basically a bunch of crooks who’ll do & say anything to get the sale. Dealing with them is a necessary evil, unfortunately.

    I’ve googled both the cars you talked about……from a practical point of view the Maxima, rather than the Coupe, would appear to be much the better choice of car for somebody who spends so much time on the road each day. Big and comfortable and roomy with all the toys to make the miles less of an effort to cover. The Coupe, stylish though it is, looks more like a leisure vehicle – something to cruise around in, wearing shades and looking uber cool as you screech to a stop in a cloud of dust at the Cahaba Trail parking lot.
