Have taken what you said on board and am attempting to convince myself that I might go it alone. However, I can all too easily envision the tumbleweeds blowing through the streets of the deserted ghost town that makes up my very own little corner of cyberspace. It’ll be like that blog, all over again.
However, am currently trying to source an affordable pair of binaural mics for out-and-about recording – seems they’re not too easy to get hold of over here. Found one supplier but the ones they sell are way too pricey, the only supplier of a reasonable costing set are out of stock for the forseeable future. Might have to go rummage around online retailers in the rest of Western Europe. Could get ‘em from the U.S. but the shipping & taxes this end would double the price.
As for the segments idea – yep, I can see the problem … I thought as much when you first suggested the idea. Anyway, perhaps we can come up with something. In the meantime I’m continuing to play with the H2, getting used to it & such – it really is a neat piece of kit.
