Note: It is my judgment that this is one of my worst podcasts. When it hurts to listen you know you have a real stinker here. Nevertheless, I did not delete it. I know you realize I am not a professional. That this is from a real guy who has lots of faults and flaws.

I love game night – from Texas Holdem to Pictionary. I recommend it. Fun way to wrap up the work week. I was always the Top Hat. Nothing wrong with being a thimble from what I can see.
‘Dick’ in Brit-speak can be ‘willy’ – but that’s awfully twee and used more by women & little kids than guys. It’s considered a more polite slang term than the alternatives, so that may be why. I guess ‘cock’ would be a more direct commonly used equivalent although there are others such as ‘knob’. But dick is up there along with the rest.
Getting rid of a land-line house phone – they can come in handy when there’s problems with a network or if you live in a crap reception area. In an emergency, the 911 (over here it’s 999) operator can trace your exact address from your call even if you’re not in a position to speak to them – illness, home invasion, suffered an injury, that kinda scenario. They can’t do that with a call from a cell.
You mentioned rotary dial phones, Nick. Would ya believe we have actually got one, in use, here in the apartment? Yep, Mike loves retro things and wanted one so we got a repro version of the exact model that his parents had when he was a kid. It’s bright red and is in the living room and it’s the one he’ll use more than the others.
Talking about sex – I know Mike sometimes is a little startled by your frankness & openness and, I think, is secretly a tad shocked. He can be a bit reserved when talking about sexual matters and that’s a British national trait…… I, on the other hand, am unshockable and don’t mind in the least. And it must be said – I have, on occasion, suffered the same reaction as Gavin when listening to some of your tales of your encounters. We’re talking boners & semi’s here.
Anyhow, I must say it’s pleasant to be here back in my comfort zone – in a comments box with my keyboard and the written word. [*sighs contentedly*] Plan to venture out into the audio world once again on Thursday or Friday (days off, both) and produce something more like a regular podcast….and then let it loose onto an unsuspecting planet. K in the southwest, you have been warned.
I enjoy listening to you talk about sex, it gives me woodies at work. I would still listen if you don’t. Keep up the great podcasting.
